Mike from Tengwars states the following regarding the band best momement I would have to say that our best moment so far was recording a complete album (Flight of the Dragon) last year. We spent a lot of time getting ready to record by practicing and deciding what songs to put on there and in what order. It included some of the first songs that we wrote back in 2000, as well as the newest stuff written a few months before going into the studio in August 2006. We spent a lot of money on making the cd, but it was money well invested. "The best thing about it was that it gave our listeners a high quality copy of our music to listen to whenever they wanted. And when we all move on in our lives - to other bands or other priorities, the cd will remain as a solid testament to what we accomplished in Tengwar - both to us and to our fans, long after details of individual concerts and events have been forgotten."

Tengwar was founded in 2000, in Danville, Virginia, USA. Influenced strongly at first by Iron Maiden and old Metallica, Tengwar has grown musically over the years and has developed their own style of metal that fans of any sub-genre can enjoy, incorporating elements of prog, thrash, shred, and classic rock. The lyrics are either epic and story-telling or serious with deep meaning (with the newest songs containing more and more Biblical references and Christian themes), applied over heavy grooves, super fast riffs, clean sections, good musicianship, and good song writing - all intertwined for a highly pleasurable listening experience.
