Arkeyn Records surprised me positively again, the release of
Scarlet Rayne’s album SCARLET RAYNE - Theatre
Humanitarian is another great release which guarantees to satisfy even the most
demanding metal fan. Scarlet Rayne are from From Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
USA,. And their
album is all about power and progressive metal similar to the early Queensryche.
. according to the band their main
influence is Jesus Christ - God's only begotten Son . so for those of you who
are not familiar welcome to the world of Christian meta/rock.
The band was formed in 1988, Playing metal straight from the
foundations of heavy metal, this is a band which definitely deserves a place in
your metal collection. Even though they had all the pre requisities for a great career in heavy metal they were not
very successful. Their early releases received very good reviews worldwide and
even a song of them called sands of time
was included in a movie soundtrack. The band was soon dissolved at 1992.
The band recorded two albums but only the first was
released. Arkeyn Steel Records took the
first album and added 4 tracks from the second never released album and created
the Theatre
Humanitarian. In total 12 songs. (to be honest I liked the first 8 songs very
much but not the other 4 from the never
unreleased album)
A few days ago I visited a record shop and bought the new Metallica album the death
magnet. I came home and I had 5 cds in front of me the Metallica one and the 4 albums from Arkeyn
Steel Label. I decided to listen to Metallica. Which was a great disappointment
for me and I believe for all the true metal fans. Soon after, I decided to
start listening to the Arkeyn Steel Label Albums. And the disappointment and
anger I had from listening to Metallica new album was replaced a positive mood and
metal atmosphere as my ears were listening true metal sounds. Scarlet Rayne
Album was one of those. Especially the
first 8 songs!!!
I wont go into details and comment each song. Do your selves
a favour and get an original CD or LP f this album. Not only it has collectors
value but also you support a great band and a great and epic label the Arkeyn
Steel Records
