Sacred Dawn - Gears of the Machine (8.5/10) - Review
Sacred  Dawn’s -  Gears of the Machine is another very good album from the legendary  label nightmare records. A well played metal album with attention to details and excellent production (really guys the production here is magnificent). Add to the  perfect vocalist and you have a very good album.     Gears of the Machine is  Sacred  Dawn’s first album.. with this album the band has setup the foundation for the future. I have no doubt that the band will release even better albums in the future – the expectations are high The band plays a progressive metal music with the influences from  bands such as Queensryche, dream theatre, and iron maiden.   The album contains 13 songs, and it comes with a lyrics booklet., some of the highlights of the album are 1) The devil went down to Georgia (creative!!!!)– 2) Master of thought, 3)  The walls of Jericho!!   In summary this a very  good album , I believe the band could have made better job in some songs (probably remove some which are not quite good).. However the excellent production and the vocalist made me to “forgive”the band from some negative things of the album   Do your selves a favour and listen to this album  - you support a great band and a great label -   As for the band : I m curious to listen their next  album. They  have setup strong foundations and  expectations are high …I am sure they will ROCKKKKK!!
