Pure Steel Records was founded for one simple reason, to support and to spread the true and independed Heavy Metal Sound of the glorious 80ies. Of course, there are different meanings of the question "What is True Metal". Therefore "True Metal needs closed minds" is our leading motto and so every release made by us, firstly must appeal to our ears and it got to be not too far away from the "pure doctrine". Ok, this is totally subjective, but because of this reason it is our demand and main goal. This guarantees the production of finest steel for all metalheads. Pure Steel Records will always try to support our bands as best as possible. This is connectet with a lot of work, organisation and idealism for the metalscene. As service in return we expect 1000% effort from our bands. Metal is our altar and we are ready to make any sacrifice to keep the machine on running and to found new steel on vinyl or cd. The re-release of old recordings is also a goal of Pure Steel Records. (if we are able to find the musicians) Why? Nobody knows how many pearls are rotting in some cellars. How many people got no chance to listen to very awesome, but relatively unknown masterpieces, because only a handful of them are existing in the world? And how many bands were absolutely underevaluated in their time, and so they vanished quickly? In the future we will try to play a little bit pearldivers in order to release some old steel-hammers. We admire the great releases of the past, but we will never forget that new bands are existing and forming, which reaches the quality of the old masters, and in some cases they overthrow them. Therefore it is another goal of us to give a good support for the new blood.
