Overtures - Beyond the Waterfall (7/10) metal review
Firstly let me Hail Rock it up Records. They are really a high quality label and all of their bands are chosen carefully and they work closely with them in order to produce very good albums   I received the packages from rock it up records. And I decided to review the  Italian band overtures first. Once the opening song begun with a cool hard rock guitar riff I was sure that the album is very good.   The album includes 8 songs, with great production and a great metal feeling. Power, hard rock and heavy metal styles. The album includes a booklet with lyrics and band photos which is a plus for the band   The first song beyond the waterfall begins with a nice guitar riffs which follows all the song, a very dynamic intro for the album. The second song Town of Desolation starts with acoustic guitar in a slow tempo and then becomes powerful and heavy for the chorus before it returns to the ballad style. The third song  faded dream has a very interesting and rather strange intro – Drums and guitars which improvise then a happy metal songs  begins !!! Strange but interesting. The fourth song Toy begins with a very Good Bass Intro (very good Base) with dryms and a rock n roll rhythm – every song in this album is completely different that the rest. after that the fifth song  called Silent observer is a song which starts with a  guitar solo and continues with acoustic guitar followed by a melodic solo, definitely the best song of the album  (especially after the mid song where the song becomes faster and more melodic). The  Self Pitier is the sixth song of the album a pure hard rock piece. Followed by the seventh song   a time of my life ,  a ballad which reveals the finger tipping and acoustic guitar playing of the band, (nice one guys)  the final song Hideout  is a good attempt to close the album , hard rock, dynamic guitars and hard rock tempo.   From what I listened I can say that I liked the band, im sure you will also find them interesting so check them out (7/10)
