Wow, what one can say about this Majectic album. I am still
feeling the effect of the songs and hear the riffs and rhythm of the band in my
ear. NEW EDEN album the Stagnant Progression
is an excellent piece of metal which is a must for each metal fan. New Eden have a bright future
in the metal scheme and their label RockItUp records showed that they know how
to choose great metal bands. .This band plays US metal with power and
progressive metal elements. All songs are excellent compositions. The album
also contains 3 bonus tracks from the Band 1999 demom, furthermore it comes
with a detailed booklet of lyrics and images.
This is an album which made a big impression to me and those
who listened to it. Dynamic from the start, the guitars are wild and free, and each
songs was produced and played with attention to detail . The band members prove
that they know what they are doing and show what’s they are made for in each
song. We liked the vocalist a lot, his
voice matches perfectly with the bands music especially his screams but
also during the chorus where the band manages to produce a symphonic vocal
effect. The guitarists prove in every song what they are made of with some
excellent solos and riffs sometimes melodic, sometimes progressive sometimes
very powerful. The same applies for the other instruments. What is more
interesting is the lyrics of the band which talk about spirits, souls, gods and
secret societies. That was another point which made the album even more
interesting. All of the above together with the A+ excellent production have led us to the conclusion
to rate the album with a very high rating
Highlights, althouth every song is close to perfection we
liked a lot the 5th song “Emptiness
of Black Tomorrow”
I would not say more, visit the store of Rockitup records
and buy the cd, not only you support a great band and a great label but also
you will add to your metal collection a valuable album which I am sure you will
listen to very often
