This
another album which we were proud we received and added to epicmetal.net. progressive power metal at its best.
To begin
with, Mindwarp’s chamber album Delusional reality we have to say that
you feel the energy of this album from the moment the intro starts, excellent
guitars, accompanied by very good keyboards with very good effects into some
songs. The vocalist is also very good and matches with the bands music very
good, add to the above the very good bass (the bass really rocks in Return to Dust), the melodics, the good
solos and riffs of both guitars and keyboards (liked the keyboard intro on (Against the Wish), the very good drums
and the guitars and you have a very good
progressive metal album.
To be
honest this is the first time I listened to Mindwarp Chamber, after researching
them a bit I discovered that they are truly a very interesting band. This band
is from Chicago, IL, USA and gained a lost of respect to
the underground metal scene. The band members were featured in bands such as
Twelfth Gate, Lords Of Meat, Spiritweb and Syris, Slauter Xstroyes and Winter
Kill. Squadron and NDX, David Shankle Group and Scepter
This album Delusional
Reality, is the bands second album,
it contains 8 songs al well played full of progressive guitars, effects and
excellent keyboards. Moreover I liked the fact that the songs are very long in
duration (6.37 is the shorter song and 10:35, the longest). Eventhough songs
are long they are not boring because
they are full of melodics, nice guitar solos and riffs with changes in tempo an overall good ambience
I would also like to say that the vocalist is EXCELLENT, and
is definitely one of the best I ever listened up to now in the metal industry,
this is a positive point for the band.
