Manifest destiny an interesting name to a great band
I am always happy to discover new bands and is a pleasure
doing that especially when I find positive surprises. Manifest destiny is one of those bands which
have surprised me positively. I was not familiar of this Oklahoma
band before and Rock It Up records introduce me to them since is their
label/distributor in Europe. (another
excellent choice for Rock it Up)
This is the 5th album of the band. the band’s
first albums dates back to 1994 with their self produce album “BRUTALITY
OF THE TRUTH”. However it is the first time I am discovering
their music. The band plays a their own unique style of metal music which is a
blend of progressive/ thrash / U.S metal.
thrash riffs, with melodic guitar solos
and a vocalist which is simply unforgettable! The feeling of the album is transmitted
to the audience from the first song. Which, prepares you from what will follow.
At the moment I listened to time of light I was sure that this album will be filled with great metal moments. All the
songs have thrash and heavy metal riffs which are combined with a melodic
chorus and melodic guitar solos. Elements which make the band to differentiate
from the rest. Here we have to also congratulate all the members of the band
for the production, for the great guitars, Bass, Drums and of course the
vocalist. The vocalist with its unique voice and screams has added another
positive element to the album. The highlight of the album is definitely
monumental Outery On the last song of the album. This song makes
sure that the listener will remember manifest destiny for a long time. Do your self a favor and buy the
album. Not only you will add a good metal album to your collection but you will
also support a very good band and a quality label
