Ivory Tower - Subjective Enemy (8/10)
Another Very good release from a label which definitely has a ,future in the metal industry (hail to pure –steel records).  Subjective enemy from IVORY TOWER is a very good album with attention to details.  Progressice  Power metal filled with  hymns, great guitars (liked the solos on the 11th song,  Welcome To) an excellent vocalist and very good production of the album (in some songs the backing vocals are excellent). Firthemore the backing vocals are very interesting and the effects which supplement each song . The band is also using the keyboards very well. The album has some very powerful and melodic songs, but also some ballads.   The history of Ivory Tower begins since 1996 with the self produced album called  victim of time (which received numerous good reviews)… the album , their second album was released in april 2000  and in 2007 they released their album IT. This is the fourth recording attempt of Ivory tower   The album contains 17 songs (yes that’s true 17) with total music of more than 1 hour. 1 and 6 minutes. So definitely it worth’s the money to be spend on it.   My favourite song was welcome to (track 11) , it starts with a very good drum info and then into moves into  progressive bass, guitar and keyboards followed by an excellent guitar playing. In this song everyone will understand the very good skills of the band members – ( im very curious to see them live).. the song has melodic guitar  and also on its second half the vocals and riffs are EPIC metal Style!!! Hail to epic metal .   Now me I still have on my playlist this album and the song welcome to, now for you!!! Do your selves a favour and go and buy the album 17 songs of pure progressive power metal. Not only you add a very good album to your album collection but you support a promising band and an excellent label (pure steel)
