Forgotten Realm - Power and Glory (9/10)
This is another great album under the label Sonic Age Records. Forgotten realm and their album Power and Glory truly deserve a high ranking in epicmetal.net and in metal in general. Melodic, powerfull, with a great guitarist and an unforgettable vocalist!!!   Tha band was formed in 2005,  this USA band gives sets the example of how power/melodic/and epic metal bands should be. The guitarist, the virtuozzo,  Matthew mills is simply perfect, its riffs and solos are melodic, really liked the Malmsteen style guitar solos and riffs,. The vocalist is excellent – his former band which he led prove that (Valhalla, Masi and Hawk). The way he sings is amazing. sometimes you get the feeling that the music was written exactly to match his vocal!! The bass and drums also we could not avoid commenting, they also have their share in this great album.   The Very good production of the album and an interesting and epical artwork for the cover come to improve the overall performance of the album   Why to say more, melodies, guitars from a guitar virtuozzo with excellent and creative solos, a unique  vocalists, and a drum and bass which are very good. This record can satisfy every metal fan.   Highlights : we really liked all of the album but a few songs impreesed us more. The first is Forgotten Realm – great intro with a piano,  melodic, epic metal characteristics, war feelings – great song.. the second song we liked is the  Forged in Steel. (no comment just listen to it) and of cource the great cover of  Rainbows The man on the Silver Mountain. Good cover where the band has added its own distinctive characteristics to the song!!!   So what to do next? Do your selves a favour and buy this album , your music collection will become richer, you will support a great band and a great label!!!
