forevers fallen grace
he mighty oak does not stand tall in a mere day -- so to it goes with music. Forevers' Fallen Grace has grown on the musical heritage of classic metal, nurtured by the creativity of the modern masters and hewn by the force of its members. From the eastern shores of Massachusetts comes Forevers' Fallen Grace. Initially born of guitarist Ken McKee and vocalist Michael Ferro, a pair of studio only projects: 1999's Trilogy of Woe and the 2001 recording Of Darksome Rivers and Sorrowed Meadows garnered critical acclaim. Securing a full time drummer, in Mark Selig, FFG was bestowed new life. A sense of greater possibilities was infused. Long time collaborator, bassist Frank Balliro, firmly committed himself to the trio. Forevers' Fallen Grace took on the northeast US tour circuit with their third release This Burden My Cross to Bear.  Garnering fans with top rate music and stage show to match.  A dramatic turn was taken in late 2005, when visionary Kevin Blakey joined the group on piano and keyboards.  Kevin quickly ingratiated his song writing sensibilities. The culmination of these efforts brought forth the album Herald of Twilight. Released in March of 2008, the music represents the hope and despair of our flickering moments on the earth.  There is no dearth of styles from the epics "And I Languish" and "Crestfallen" to the succinct "Goliath’s Pain".  Herald of Twilight offers a new experience with each listen. Following the release of Herald of Twilight, Mark left to concentrate on his career engineering cymbals, while Kevin removed himself from live performances.  Kevin is still working with the band on future ideas. As we lose, we gain.  The dawn of 2008 brought new drummer and multi instrumentalist Tony Melo.   His years of playing death/black metal and love of progressive music has given FFG the right blend of power and finesse behind the kit. And so the growth of Forevers' Fallen Grace continues, in the fertile grounds of musical creativity and the power of heavy metal.
