sDemonstealer Records (also known as DSR) is an
independent record label based in Mumbai, India. It is the only label
in the country that is dedicated to the genre of extreme metal.
DSR was created to push to the forefront some of the most talented
and extreme metal bands. It is focused on releasing these bands
worldwide, organizing tours and creating a true metal scene and
community.
DSR’s unofficial releases include the Demonic Resurrection debut
album ‘Demonstealer’, Reptilian Death’s ‘Total Annihilation’ and the
‘Resurrection’ Compilation.
Backed by Barcode Entertainment and Demonic Studios, DSR officially
launched itself with the release of Demonic Resurrection’s latest
album, ‘A Darkness Descends’. The album has given the label a global
footprint in terms of the quality of recording and path-breaking sound.
DSR has successfully launched the albums of many great Indian metal
bands like Bhayanak Maut, Scribe, Exhumation, Narsil, Acrid Semblance
etc. DSR has also been successful in releasing non Indian bands. DSR
has recently created the first ever DSR Street Team to improve
distribution and availability of its titles.
With lots of releases in the pipeline DSR plans to give Indian
releases the push they deserve and make their presence felt globally.
