Dark Quarterer - Symbols (7.5/10) Metal Review
Welcome to the world of Progressive Epic Metal!!!!   Here is an epic metal band - the Dark Quarterer different than all the rest. As many of you, I have discovered them through the great epic metal label my graveyard productions This band  plays a style of epic metal which they call progressive epic metal.   This band is influenced by bands such as  Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Krokus, Grand Funk Railroad, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Van Der Graaf Generator, Deep Purple, Ten Years After, Cream, Manowar, Michael Shenker, Colosseum. The influences of the above and especially of the bands of the 70s  are very obvious in their music.   The symbol album contains  6 songs however don’t be disappointed the average duration is more than 10 minutes per song (68 minutes for the total album) every song is characterised by its  Melodies, progressive guitars, pianos, changes and alternations between guitar effects and acoustic guitars, by the high and slow rhythms  and most importantly by creativity. (marching effect intro for the crazy white race was interested) All the songs are well played and the production is very good. The album comes with a booklet with lyrics and photos.   Another point that I have to mentioned is the quality of the musicians of this album they are all excellent.   If you are into progressive metal and liked a touch of epic on top then this is definetly an album you should listen – give it a shot. This band is quite interesting   Progressive Epic Metal here I come! 7.5/10
