Crystal Viper. An excellent album with an  interesting story Immediately after the intro and to the first riffs of the night prowler song I was sure that the album will be very interesting. At the  and of the journey of this album, during the final moments of the last song sleeping with words I realized that this interesting album was an excellent album. Crystal viper well done!! Concept Album : This album became even more interesting as soon as I opened the booklet and realized that this is a concept album. The album story is based on the kingdom of khalandir and every song is supplemented by a short story on top in the booklet. Very interesting  and a good choice to base the album to that. This band combines classic heavy metal elements of the 80s together with great female vocals. Everything was perfect the guitar riffs, the solos, the vocals drums and bass. Furthermore the lyrics, and especially the story the album is based on worth investigating it a bit more. Every song has its own meaning and story which gives even more passion and meaning to the songs  All the songs are close to perfection the album includes fast, very fast and slower songs.  I wont comment them all. However I especially liked the The Last Axeman” would like to hear this song live and see the response from the audience!! This is  a fast song with a very cool intro guitar.  Night Crawler  is another excellent song on this album dynamic and fast (reminded me the old good  times of heavy metal). and since the name of this website is epic metal of course we gave attention to the epical song  Island of the silver Skull . A great album is not great without a nice metal ballad. Demons Dagger is  the ballad song of the album finally  the fury (undead)  is the fastest song of the album and another one of the highlights.  This album is one of the best I ever heard. This is the type of the band which reminds me of several heavy metal bands of the 80s. This is the first album of the band released in 2007 (they have a new one for release in 2008 we are waiting for the promo!!). Up to now the band has participated in several and very interesting tribute albums (.angel witch, Cirith Ungol, Wasp,) Crystal viper are from Poland. They have released the album under Karthago Records (which is one of the best and high quality labels this labels ha some very interesting bands).   About the album An excellent album, is the kind of album that someone would expect from a band who shared the stage with Doro, Sister Skin, Deathstars, Hammerfall, Statovarius). The album was released in 2007 under Karthago records. It includes 10 songs. Production is excellent (Bart Gabriel). The album includes a detail booklet with lyrics and a short story for each song.  It is a concept album in the old school heroic-fantasy style. The front cover artwork s the work of a famous polish fantasy painter Tomasz Oracz.  A special guest in this album is Gerrit P mutz of Sacred Steel.  The album was produced by Bart Gabriel (lord vader, Metalucifer, Metal Mirror, V.A, etc).  .  Good job guys     Finally support this great band by buying their album. Not only you help the band but also you will enrich your record collection. Also is worth checking other albums of karthago records because they have some very interesting and great band releases.
