Boomerang
This band
has been in metal since 1996, Since then they released 1 demo and two albums, which according to the
media received some very good reviews. This is the 3rd album for the
band under Pure steel Records. The album
was due for release in the 1st of February. And from what we saw Boomerang
did considerably well in this album. This album not only has heavy metal and
epic elements but also includes some thrash metal characteristics.. the band
really manages to differentiate from the
rest using what they call “two vocal-lines”.
The Album
The album
is called “Sounds of the Sirens” it contains
10 songs. Some are fast, some are very fast, some are filled with power , some
have epical styles and characteristics, some have thrash and power metal
elements and some have all of the above. the band manages in each of every song
chorus to produce a symphonic style vocals and backing vocals a point very
positive for the album. Dynamic intros, hard kicking ass metal riffs, melodic
and fast (very fast) solos together with an exceptional and rather unique
vocalist (axel Johan). It is also obvious how thrash metal affected their music
and their production; you see this band was formed from the remains of a thrash
metal band. And the influences of thrash metal to boomerang music are obvious. The
above however serves as an advantage for them.
Highlights
The best
song of the album is without a doubt theONE
NIGHT TO REMEMBER. Is an unforgetabkle song which guarantees that your
cd player will explode…@@$#$% this one will drive you crazy with is intro its riffs and its interesting, progressive
and fast solo, and its rhythm, yeaaaahh this this is a night to remember .

Blood Angel (TCO-II) – a song with epical and thrash metal elements, fast
and powerful solos and rhynm which alternates up and down high and low throught
the song!! The song starts and closes in an epical way and in between guitars,
and the band go crazy with their fast and powerful thrash – epic metal guitar
style. Another very interesting and quite dark
song is the Skin – walker. This song will make you start
headband from the beginning with is powerful boomerang style intro. The Guitar Solos in some songs are really heavy
and fast explore the album to discover themThis is an interesting band which produced a very good album
