Metallers of the world – this is an album which you should all have in your collection. Astoryas is a very interesting and promising band. With supporting acts to concerts with primal fear, freedom call and metallium. The band plays Pure Power Metal influenced by Helloween and Gamma Ray. Honestly this album will be on my playlist for quite sometime and I will monitor Astoryas very closely The vocals, the guitars, the riffs and rhythms all successfully transmit a power metal feeling to the audience.
The vocalist does an excellent job. It is interesting the way he alternates his voice. The guitars also do a great job with power and melodic riffs and solos. The same accounts for the other instruments. Another positive point is the production of the album which is excellent from recording to the whole packaging. A number of bands which do independent albums have problem in arranging the instruments and the vocals. I was pleased when I heard that the vocals were clear and not affected by other instruments.
The album contains 7 songs. Most of them 5+ minutes.. Dynamic and Powerful with melodic guitar solos and riffs.. Each song has its own characteristics and honestly all 7 are excellent pieces of power metal. The Powerful introduction of the song FREEDOM with its metallic riffs prepares you from what it will follow. HELLFIRE is the highlight of the album. WIND OF HATE Is an interesting piece with EPICAL introduction..
I will not say more on Astoryas. The band currently is recording a new album and I have high expectations of them. As for the rest of you visit www.astoryas.de and buy the album to support the band but also to enrich your album collection.
