Band History ASTORYAS
The Heavy Metal band ASTORYAS from Ludwigsburg (Ger) was founded in march 2002 by Thomas Echesl (vocals & guitar), Patrick Lang (guitar), Marco Atzori (bass) and Kai Dryja (drums).
The band name ASTORYAS has no deeper sin. It rose from a spontaneous intuition and was accepted immediately of all members as the name to represent their music.
In January 2004 the band released their first studio album

In May 2004 Astoryas opend the WACKEN ROAD SHOW for the Bands Primal Fear, Freedom Call and Metallium in the Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg. A lot of other concerts have followed. Astoryas also played with bands like Crematory, Majesty, My-Early-Mustang, Saidian, Debauchery and MonoInk.
On the U&D Open-Air-Festival 2005 used ASTORYAS the possibility to play as CO-Headliner in front of 4000 festival visitors and inspire the mass for itself.
The band separated 2006 from its friend and bassist of many years Marco Atzori. With Martin Echsel found a new bassplayer was found in the same year.
At the moment the band works on the new album.
