Asian Typhoon) is the hard rock super band headed by Minoru Mick Niihara of
LOUDNESS
They activity promote their music through recordings and worldwide tours.
With heavy metal fans across many generations, their powerful and loud
performance shocks their audiences.
1999 February The band was formed.
November 1st single 「Don’t let the sun go down」was released.
December 1st album「Asian Typhoon」was released.
｢THE END OF CENTURY 100 GIGS WORLD TOUR」
2000 July Performed to a wild audience at the Coconut
Teaszerin L.A., USA.
August ｢Asian Typhoon ～English Version～」was released in Japan
and Southeast Asia.
November 2nd album「METALIZATION」was released.
2001 February Performed a four-day GIG at Meguro
LIVESTATION with special guest Paul Gilbert (formerly of MR. BIG)
and other musicians.

2002 April 3rd album「LIFE」was released.

June The band was invited to an event hosted by the
Japanese Embassy to commemorate the 30th anniversary of
the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China. The news quickly made its
way into the Chinese
media across the country.
July The band was invited to represent Japan at the ｢Hong
Kong International Rock Festival 2002｣.
2003 June 4th album「Ⅳ」was released.
「X.Y.Z.→A is coming to your town tour 2003~2004」.
August They appeared at the「2003 Dargu summer Universidad meet “OK! Crazy!! World
Rock Festival” in Korea」with BOWWOW.
2004 February First best of LIVE album「X.Y.Z.→ ALIVE｣ was released.
2006 March ｢TOUR 2006...SOME KIND OF SCREAMERS｣
December 5th album「WINGS」was released.
2007 March ｢TOUR 2007 WINGS｣
November ｢1999～2007 8th Anniversary "WINGS TOUR FINAL!!"」
Appeared at ｢Battle of Asian typhoon～」KOTTAK（USA), and played together with Crack'n Up's（GERMANY).
